Dian Wang was born in Changsha, a mid city in China in 1987, where she still lives with her family. She graduated from Communication University of China & Tongji University, and got the Master degree for Animation in 2012. She lived in Stockholm for 1 year from 2012~2013, then back to China. She worked as character designer, and then turned to be professional illustrater, focus on story-book & magazine illustration for children. She now has readers worldwide.
She also has a job in Hunan Women University as an art teacher.
In 2017, her book "“Have You Thanked an Inventor Today?” has been selected by Microsoft.com as one of their Books to Inspire Girls in STEM, for girls ages 5-9.
